Board of Health


The Gloucester City Board of Health meets every 2nd Monday in each of the following months (January, March, July, September, November and December) at City Hall, 313 Monmouth Street at 7:30 pm.


The following members were appointed by the Mayor and Council for three-year staggering terms, as well as two alternate members appointed to staggered terms:

Vanessa Courant - member

Joanne Yourison - member

Roseann Michel - member

Bernadette Gorman - member

James Johnson - member

Bruce Marks - alternate #1

Dayl Baile -  alternate #2

Purpose

The Gloucester City Board of Health serves as an advisory board that advises the Mayor and Council on public health issues. The Board also runs a yearly rabies clinic, a blood drive as well as other health related programs though out the City.
