Taxes Can be Conveniently Paid as Follows:

in person – visit the Tax Office at 512 Monmouth Street

by mail – send payment to 512 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ 08030

secure drop box – drop payment in the tax office drop box located near the front steps of the Municipal Building at 512 Monmouth Street (NO CASH)

Please remember to provide separate checks for taxes and water-sewer accounts.

Tax Collection Information – Tax payments are due on February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st. There is a 10 grace period for each quarter for payments. 

Water & Sewer Information – for your convenience, water and sewer payments are accepted at the Tax Collectors Office. Senior Citizen’s discounts are available, but must be applied for at the Tax Collectors office.

Utility quarters are 1st quarter (Jan, Feb, Mar), 2nd quarter (Apr, May, Jun), 3rd quarter (Jul, Aug, Sept), 4th quarter (Oct, Nov, Dec).

Senior Citizens who are not working may qualify for a reduced bill. For more information, please call 456-1250 or apply at the office.

Min. bill is $71.00 for water + $93.00 for sewer = $164.00* (10,000 gal allowance)* Excess usage from the previous quarter from water usage is included in the current quarter billing.
