Effective 4/28/20; 2:15 pm.  As per the Governor’s Executive Order issued within the hour, the Mayor and City Council in Gloucester City just convened an emergency meeting and passed a Resolution extending the tax payment grace period from May 10th to June 1st.  In these difficult circumstances and crisis we are in, this is the least we can do.  PLEASE SHARE so we can get the word out to our neighbors and small businesses.

Please remember to provide separate checks for taxes and water sewer accounts.


Tax Collection Information – Tax payments are due on February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st.
There is a 10 grace period for each quarter for payments. 


Water & Sewer Information – for your convenience, water and sewer payments are accepted at the Tax Collectors Office. 

                                  Senior Citizen’s discounts are available, but must be applied for at the Tax Collectors office.

Utility quarters are 1st quarter (Jan, Feb, Mar), 2nd quarter (Apr, May, Jun), 3rd quarter (Jul, Aug, Sept), 4th quarter (Oct, Nov, Dec).

Senior Citizens who are not working may qualify for a reduced bill. For more information, please call 456-1250 or apply at the office.

Min. bill is $71.00 for water + $93.00 for sewer = $164.00* (10,000 gal allowance)* Excess usage from the previous quarter from water usage is included in the current quarter billing.
