Fall Cleanup and Shredding Day

Community Clean Up Day

Dear Club/Organization Contact,

The City of Gloucester City will be having its Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 from 9:00am until 1:00pm, beginning at the Community Center on Nicholson Road (old Gloucester Heights Fire Hall).  Please mark the date on your calendars.  The date was changed from the calendar date to accommodate the shredding company.

A clean-up day meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, in the Front Office at Public Works Main Office

It will begin at 2:45pm.  Each group will submit their forms with their group’s 1st and 2nd site preference choices for clean-up day.    

On Community Clean-Up Day, all necessary tools, equipment, trash bags and gloves will be supplied at the community center on Nicholson Road.  Refreshments will also be supplied.

In case of rain on the above date, please make other arrangements with Alex Tedesco to reschedule.  We will accept other clean-up dates up to 2 weeks past this scheduled event.  If you do not hand in your paperwork prior to the actual clean-up day, you will not be permitted to participate and earn the stipend.
