PURPOSE: The City of Gloucester City is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Johnson Park, located at the intersection of S. Johnson Boulevard and Klemm Avenue.

PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Gloucester City proposes to create the following new facilities at Johnson Park: and/or to include a dog park; and/or to renovate the following facilities: the Johnson Park Jogging Trail, the Johnson Park Gazebo and the Johnson Park Playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes and a preliminary cost estimate can be found at: www.cityofgloucester.org/greenacres

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held In Person at the Courthouse, 313 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ 08030, before the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
